Elementary School
Crest View Elementary
Not only does this school care deeply about the mental development of its students, the physical growth holds precedent as well. As a recipient of The School Lunch Program, renegade lunch lady Chef Ann along with a team of nutrition experts revitalized Crest View’s afternoon meal options. A salad bar and a large amount of tasty healthy options are now a daily part of the school day. Crest View is also a proponent of Garden to Table— a program where students actually get a hands-on lesson in agriculture and later enjoy the tasty produce that they helped plant. While maintaining a sturdy academic environment, Crest View also manages to keep the fun flowing with book drives, auctions and talent shows.

Centennial Middle School
A middle school that prides itself on solid teachers who are focused on making connections with students is a true gift in today’s day and age. Bringing the personal aspect to the forefront, Centennial’s site even features blogs of certain teachers. In addition to providing top-notch academic courses, Centennial is devoted to providing extracurricular activities that students savor. Art club, jazz band and rock climbing are just a few of the many to choose from.

High School
Tara Performing Arts High School
This high school seems like it should be overrun with dancing teens, bursting out their best musical theater voices between bell rings. A school that fosters the potential of future artists and stars, Tara is certainly unique. Founded in 2001, this extraordinary school fuses together math, science and foreign language with the arts. Musical theater, art and music are given just as much attention as the main staple studies. With only 50 students overall, this school knows the importance of personalized attention. Recognizing the importance of travel, Tara offers fieldtrips that go beyond the Rocky Mountains. NYC visits to the MoMA and the Met are common. Seniors get to explore the cultural landmarks of Europe. Nothing like the savory sights of Vienna and London to close out the four years of high school.
